The benefits of Access Control

Firstly Access control allows you to control who has access to your building, and offers a flexible, secure and cost effective way of controlling who has access to your building, when and where access is allowed to each key holder; giving your organisation the security you require .​

All businesses, no matter what size, have assets that need protection from the possibility of theft, and there is also the necessity to protect staff and their property too.

In buildings controlled by locks and keys it is not uncommon for doors to be left open all day, leaving your premises open to the opportunist and the possibility of theft or malicious damage.

Access control is the most efficient and convenient way to provide security to your building, your staff and your assets,  Keys become a thing of the past; tokens are issued to give access through controlled doors, each token can be assigned access to open only the doors that are required by each user.  These tokens are easily barred if lost, stolen or not returned by an employee leaving your organisation and barred tokens will not allow access through controlled doors.

Once access control is installed each door will automatically lock as it is closed, leaving anyone without a pin or token unable to enter.   For example, all staff can gain access through the main door of a building, but access to internal areas may be restricted to those who have a specific need to be there.  Access may also be restricted by time, only granting access to particular users at certain times of day or night.

Net2 is an advanced PC based access control system, which if required will integrate with IP cameras, providing centralised administration and control of one to  hundreds of doors doors and up to 50,000 users.

Switch2

Switch2 is a standalone product suitable for external use in buildings requiring high levels of security. Comprising a separate control unit (installed in a safe area to avoid tampering) and reader. THe system is a scaleable, easy-to-manage access solution ideal for small to medium sites.

Switch2 uses the same ingenious token management system as the compact system.
